Radhika
Hamlai, a self-taught artist, works in surrealistic and abstract art and
is influenced by colours and things observed in nature. She also has varied
kinds of works in graphic and realistic landscapes.
She has had several exhibitions within the Sultanate. Her abstract work
is colorful, vibrant, and full of energy and life. Her last joint exhibition
at Bait Muzna Gallery entitled "Painted Poetry" was very well
received Radhika is a member of the Omani Society of Fine Arts Society,
Artist Centre and Bombay Art Society. She has participated in many exhibitions
and received an award in 2007.
Radhika's paintings focus on the ''scenic beauty of Oman''.
