A second generation young Omani artist,
Mohammed Al Mamari has excelled in fine arts since his early childhood.
Mohammed was born in 1981 in Muscat, Oman. His beginnings in art started
with a lead pencil focusing on the effects of black and white.
After two years of training, his talent showed unique skills in demonstrating
contrast between shadow and light. Since a few years his main interest
is in surrealism work as he trained under the Omani master Saud Al Hunaini
and lately he concentrated in calligraphy using watercolor. By using a
variety of mediums and techniques, he is searching different harmonies
in reproducing objects on canvases and to get an overall rhythm in his
art.
Mohammed is a member in Omani Society for Fine Arts and Emirates Fine
Arts Society. He is also an established member of Al Rozna Art Group that
supports young artists in showing new forms of art in Oman.
