British born artist Patricia Al Fakhri is a well respected water colourist, based in Dubai since 1977. She held her first solo exhibition in Dubai in 1987 and since then has participated in many exhibitions. Her work is a familiar sight in the UAE, hanging in schools, airports, offices and hotels. A large mural can be found at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Spending her summers painting in the London enclave of Little Venice, her work is also now finding a break through in British Galleries. Patricia has developed a distinctive style and her softly articulated watercolours create romantic glimpses of Gulf Scenes. After regular visits to Oman and falling in love with the country, she had two successful solo exhibitions at Bait Muzna Gallery.
